Marlow is a small, gentle town on the River Thames, some thirty miles west of London. A jumble of pretty red-brick and flint houses cluster about its high street, which leads down to Marlow’s one memorable ensemble—the parish church of All Saints, overlooking a fine suspension bridge across the river.
