Benedict Read
Benedict Read (1945–2016) was an English art historian who specialized in Victorian and twentieth-century sculpture in Britain. Read taught at the Courtauld Institute of Art and Leeds University and, in 1991, co-organized the ground-breaking exhibition Pre-Raphaelite Sculpture at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
